Hol Chan Marine Reserve

I booked a snorkel tour of Hol Chan, a marine reserve about four miles off the coast of the caye, and Shark Ray Alley where lots of nurse sharks and rays hang out. I went with SEArious Adventures:

^This is the guide, Devon. You can't see it in the photo, but there was a moray eel right by his hand.

^There were only four other people in the tour that afternoon. Perfect weather. We rode on a fast, smallish boat called "Mac's Finest."

^Me snorkeling.

^This shell had a live conch, but it was hiding.

^Sea cucumber.

^Queen triggerfish.

Hol Chan didn't have a huge number of fish like Shark Ray Alley, so most of these photos are of the coral gardens.

^Some kind of spotted stingray. It was huge.

^Barracuda.

^I got to see sea turtles!

^A spotted trunkfish.

^Another picture of a turtle.
