This was one of my favorite flowers to photograph...it seemed pretty common, a lot of people use these plants as a border on their beach property. I don't know what they're called but they appear to be a bulb plant.
^I don't know the proper name for this orchid, but I heard them referred to as "beach orchids."
There were hibiscus bushes lining the courtyard at the resort.
